Clarence D. Lockett, originally from the south, starting writing short stories in elementary school. Clarence’s love for creating stories turned into a love for writing plays and eventually movies. Clarence has written hundreds of short plays and short films and has been fortunate to work with major talent; double amputee war veteran, Noah Galloway, and Birmingham’s First Black police officer, Leroy Stover. After writing and directing several short films over years, his web series got nominated for “Best Web Series” at Atlanta’s Content Creators of Atlanta Awards. Recently, he’s written many feature films in a short time span and is currently part of Atlanta’s Bridge 17 Writer’s Room.
